Dental Hygienist Job Summary
We have an opening for an experienced Dental Hygienist. Your main function will be to help our patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health by performing adult prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, and assist the doctor by performing examinations, oral health education, and meticulous home care recommendations.  As a specialty periodontal practice, we pride ourselves in providing excellent care to all of our patients and expect our hygienists to be attentive and detailed in their work. 

Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications

  • Current California license as Registered Dental Hygienist
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a registered dental hygienist
  • Excellent understanding of current recommended dental hygiene procedures, and use of related instruments and equipment, for excellent biofilm and plaque removal
  • Perform recommended cleaning, maintenance, and sharpening of instruments
  • Excellent communication skills with patients, team members, and referring offices
  • Maintain patient confidence and keep information confidential, for HIPAA compliance
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols

You must have a current state license and at least five years of professional experience.
